Hello!
My name is Rhody
I am the Founder and Head Expedition Leader at The Rhody Safari Company.
​
My wildlife passions originate in the jungles and rainforests of South India, to where I would venture in search of tigers, sloth bears, Indian elephants and other fascinating wildlife. At the age of six I developed a passion for herpetology - the study of reptiles. My curiosity took me to the far interior of South Africa to study the wildlife and environment, and I have since also fallen in love with the culture and way of living.

I naturally acquired the adventurous lifestyle, such as off-roading, flying and game-viewing, and I enjoy sharing my experiences with others. I am a private pilot and a medical doctor, specialising as an orthopaedic surgeon in the UK as my full-time job.
